South Island Royals at WHL Training Camps

Less than 10 days ago, three SI Royals went to WHL training camps and did very well! Ben Wetterberg showed off his size and skill at Kelowna Rockets, Sullivan Humeniuk's skating and shot made a noise at Seattle Thunderbirds, and Cooper Anderson did so well that he signed with the Prince Albert Raiders! All three players impressed the clubs. Both Ben and Sullivan will be watched closely by their respective clubs and Cooper just returned two days ago after playing in 2 exhibition games already! Anderson got the win vs. the Saskatoon Blades after playing almost 30 minutes and got a chance to take on Connor Bedard last Saturday as he started vs. the Pats. The Raiders won that game as well! Great start for these players! Make sure to keep on eye on them as they look to take on a very tough U17AAA division in the BCEHL this season.
